2025 PG North Indoor Showcase
Cole Gearing is a 2026 C with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Black River Falls, WI who attends Black River Falls High School. A medium and lean frame with good athletic traits throughout the build. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who had a slightly open setup with feel to gain ground working out of the crouch. He had a clean transfer with an extended arm slot working through it. He spreads and whips the arm with throws at 74 mph and a pop time of 2.10 during his round of throws. He was accurate around the bag and showed a feel for the actions, repeating well. Took BP as a right-handed hitter with an upright and narrow stance with a slightly open setup. He had higher hands, with the back elbow up, using a leg lift and stride forward into it. He turns hard with some whip and was able to drive it fine, showing hard turns and feel for the barrel. He whips his hands through it and is able to show some feel to lift as well. He worked the entire field during his round, with his best results coming back up the middle. Produced an 80 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Great student.
