Dalton Cole is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Holton, KS who attends Holton. Thicker young build with some strength potential. Works from a windup with a side step start, arm takeaway is short and compact, pretty simple turn and throw mechanics. Still developing his arm speed, fastball topped out at 62 mph to go with a 12-6 shpaed curveball. Plays first base when not on the mound. Fields it up the middle with a two-hand smother. Cleaner release with a shorter arm action with some arm strength. Right handed hitter, starts his hands in a high set, slightly open lower half, casts his hands out to start his swing, line drive swing plane, hands can get more direct into contact, mostly opposite field contact. Good student.
