Adrian Marto is a 2027 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Mira Mesa. Medium size frame. Compact delivery, drop and drive mechanics, and three-quarter slot. Minimal stride and extension.. Low 70's fastball with pretty low spin. Slider had subtle late drop but is gradual mover when executed properly. Got outs by attacking the zone and forcing weak contact.In the infield, the footwork is inconsistent when working laterally but on time when the ball was hit at him. Hands tend to stab at reception. Unique arm action delivered accurate throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, wide base and high back elbow. Limited bat speed through the zone, tends to cut himself off post impact. Ran into a couple squared up line drives through the middle. Needs to add explosiveness. 8.21 60-yard. Good Student.
