Oliver Stark is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Weddington, NC who attends Central Academy of Technology and Arts. Medium frame with some length to him, wiry strength and plenty of room to add physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.73 seconds. Primary position RHP, full windup from the middle of the rubber, bigger side step to quick chest high leg lift in a pretty good spot over the rubber, hands at the chest breaking into shallow inline arm path and loading on time, gets down the mound pretty well and when he stays inline at foot strike ball comes out well, accelerates through an over-the-top arm angle, hides the ball a bit and it jumps on hitters, run to the arm side on his upper-70s fastball causing hitters fits, emerging feel for the off speed stuff, slider in the upper-50s that needs some velocity and fading changeup with deadening spin. Secondary infielder, using long strides to cover good ground laterally. Bends at the waist to present the glove out front and secures the ball confidently. Full arm path building throws up to 77 mph across the diamond. RHH working from a wider stance with turned in front side with a lower handset. Stiffer overall operation with steep path to impact, chopping the ball around the infield. Room to grow with the stick. Very good student as well.
