Peter Kooiker is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Jenison, MI who attends Jenison. Kooiker works from a well built broader frame with additional projection remaining as a '26 prospect. Primary RHP, free and easy operation working primarily from the stretch. Shorter arm stroke at the back with FB topping out at 82 mph and sitting in the high 70s for the majority of the appearance. Hid the ball effectively and tunneled pitches well, mixing a FB/SL/CH arsenal effectively for outs. SL registered at 2273 rpm. At 1B, showcased reliable glove work with developing feel for internal clock. Topped out at 77 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the righty started with a low back elbow utilizing a simple stride into impact. Flashed bat speed through the zone with intent to drive the ball to the middle / opposite field. Posted an exit velo of 84 mph. Ran a 8.22 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
