Leo McCullers is a 2029 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-11 197 lb. frame from Trinity, FL who attends A3 Academy. Thicker build with a strong lower-half and more strength to project for. 9.11 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman, takes a quick first step on the baseball and moves around the bag well. Made clean funnels and turns to second base. Showcased an adjustable glove and accurate arm across the diamond. Arm strength will continue to develop over time. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch with a leg lift up to the belt. Separates into a slightly deeper arm path before accelerating into a low ¾ slot. Takes a shorter stride down the slope and tends to rush over his front-side a bit. Fastball showed gradual arm-side run with decent location. Mixed in a shorter curveball with gradual break. Right-handed batter, starts in an even stance with a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a simple trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Quiet path to the baseball with well-repeated movements. Good barrel consistency with developing bat speed. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. Good student.
