Gavin Cox is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Northgate. Well proportioned strong build. Ran an 8.07 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, sets up in an even base, high hands with a low back elbow set pre-pitch, flatter path, negative move, hanging lift, has some bat speed to work with paired with some strength for the class, creates separation with a deeper hand load and higher back elbow. Primary third baseman, corner look and feet, stabs a the backhand some, high release on throws, developing arm strength across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, lower three-quarters slot with some extension down the slope, sweeping slider, typical life to the four seam fastball that has occasional cut, fading change shown to left-handed hitters, stretch only from the first base side with a belt high leg lift, works inline down the slope, fastball worked best to his arm side, arm can get late. Has some size to work with and projects to the corners defensively.
