Leo Demetriou is a 2029 OF/LHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Francis W. Parker. Taller athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 7.70 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves well to the ball and carries his momentum into his throws, fields the ball out front cleanly, throws uphill but makes accurate one-hop throws with projectable arm strength, good base fundamentals to grow into defensively. Left handed hitter, sets up in an open and spread stance, has a short hands driven swing with some lower half turn, works pull side with occasional lift, nice swing base to build from as he gets stronger with some present bat speed as well. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a small side step and high leg raise, longer high 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with some cutting action, thrown mostly to the glove side. Curbveball showed some sweeping depth at times, was more effective throwing strikes from the stretch. Has some mound potential with further development. Named to the PG 14U Great Lakes All-State Games Top Prospect List.
