Kyle Russo is a 2027 RHP/1B/SS with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from South Hamilton, MA who attends Hamilton Wenham Regional High School. Long and lean high waisted build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a standard leg raise delivery with some coil over the rubber, 3/4's arm slot, repeated his mechanics well. Fastball was mostly in the lower 70's and topped out at 75 mph, threw his fastball for strikes to both sides of the plate and had some arm side running life. Curveball was solid pitch with good tight spin and feel for landing it for strikes, had some downer depth to it, could become a weapon for him as he gets stronger. Flashed a change up in warm ups but didn't utilize in the game. 7.69 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the infield, glove tended to get down late, made accurate throws from a lower arm slot than he had on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and slightly open base with an inward toe tap trigger, moves the ball around the field with good barrel to ball skills, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Good student.
