John Thomson is a 2026 2B with an athletic 5-8 145 lb. frame from Manteca, CA who attends Sierra HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.32 60-yard dash. A primary infielder. Offensively, he showed off the ability to barrel up the baseball. Uses a simple loading mechanism that allows his to deliver the barrel on time. The bat path is uphill, trying to produce loft. At times, got a little rotational. Profiles at third base showing he could work through the baseball with confidence and deliver accurate throws across the diamond.
