2025 PG 14U Midwest All-State Games (Invite Only)
Maxwelton Steinhauer is a 2028 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 230 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Kent. Stocky extra large build with plenty of present strength. Primary first baseman with fundamental footwork and fields out front with solid glove actions. Made all the plays and moved around off the bag with solid arm strength. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a full windup from the middle of the rubber with a belt-high leg lift and works into a slightly off-line arm path and releases from a compact three- quarter arm angle. The fastball (1622 RPM) was up to 73 and was low-70s with late sink and run. Flashed a change-up (1541 RPM) in the upper-60s with similar action to the fastball. Shorter, low-60s curveball (1609 RPM) with some depth. Pitched to contact. Right handed hitter starts from a narrow, even stance with a tight handset and a high back elbow, utilizes a synced-up leg lift trigger. Flat bat path to it with some feel for creating leverage at the point of contact. Solid bat speed and feel to use all fields. Added a double into the left-center field gap on Saturday. Good student. Named to the 14U Midwest All-State Games Top Prospect List.
