Scotty Brown is a 2027 2B/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Portage, MI who attends Portage Central. Brown ran a 7.61 Sixty Yard Dash. Medium athletic frame with some present strength with room for additional going forward. Primary middle infield waiting back working down to the baseball with developing feel for the glove funnel. Showing some length in the arm swing with accuracy across the diamond with developing arm strength. Secondary outfielder with athletic footwork showing the ability to work through the baseball catching it cleanly off to the side. Showing some accuracy on his throws with multiple hops. Right handed hitter with a medium even foot base working into a small toe tap trigger. The bat path was downhill through the zone with quickness within the barrel working a middle of the field approach. Scotty is an excellent student in the classroom.
