Jianfeng Cai is a 2027 RHP/ with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Shenzheng, GD who attends . Primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic frame and room to add. Stretch only operation with a standard leg lift, keeping the shoulders square to the plate. Has a quick arm out of a three-quarter arm slot. Breaking ball is slurvy with 11-5 shape, staying firm and flashing sweep. Does a nice job driving from the lower half and extending to the plate with fastball up to 88. Worked out in the dirt at short, showing solid lateral movement, clean glove and a quick exchange. Strong arm across and stayed fairly accurate throughout. Does a nice job working through the baseball, keeping the feet moving toward the target. Has a narrow base with a low back elbow at the plate. Short stride to contact with a little bat wag, staying on a level path with an all fields approach.
