Andy Garcia is a 2025 3B/OF with a 6-3 229 lb. frame from Clifton, NJ who attends Clifton. Extra large build with lots of strength potential. 7.40 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, works through the baseball at a deliberate pace and fields it cleanly with soft hands. Utilized a shorter arm stroke to deliver accurate throws across the diamond. Displayed developing lateral range and athleticism in the dirt while recording arm strength up to 74 mph. Switch-hitter; from the right-side, starts in an upright stance with a wide and open base. Has a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes a hover trigger for timing with rotational swing mechanics present in the operation. Opens up the front-side early while working into a slightly downhill bat path. Best impact was to the opposite-field gap. From the left-side, sets up in a similar stance. Base is a bit wider and the hands tighten up. Attempts to maintain posture over the baseball. Produced hard line drive impact when timed up from both sides. Projects for more power with additional strength and mechanical refinement. Posted an exit velocity of 80 mph. Good student.
