Adam Griffin is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Clemmons, NC who attends Forsyth Country Day HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Side step delivery, some cross body, tends to land on heal and spin off to first base, 3/4's release point, fast arm. Fastball 89-92 mph, big tailing life on FB, sometimes plus late movement, very nice change up with similar life, change up is very effective, big breaking curveball, fair spin, will occasionally lower CB slot and get bigger sweep, might be a slider candidate. 6.86 runner, very athletic, can swing the bat. Good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina.
