Paul Kingston Ward is a 2029 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Tempe, AZ who attends Corona Del Sol. Features a lean frame with some strength present. Ran a 7.99 60-yard dash. Primary catcher. Uses a side saddle setup. Will mix in one-knee down setup at times. Gains ground out of crouch. Has some quickness to the exchange with a longer arm action. Was accurate with most throws. Recorded a 2.13 pop time. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a high hand setup. Shifts weight with a simple trigger. Swings on a direct path. Will cut off swing out front. Refining barrel path and adding strength would allow for more impact. Right-handed pitcher. Shows a low effort operation down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a short, clean arm action. Front leg blocks well at landing. Fastball sat 73-77 mph. Mixed in a developing upper-60’s breaking ball with slurvy action. Still refining sharpness to the pitch mix. Excellent student.
