2025 PG North Indoor Showcase
Sean Baker is a 2028 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Delavan, WI who attends Delavan-Darien. A medium frame and more compact build. Ran an 8.14 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who works from the wind-up with a sidestep into the leg lift at the belt, with a knee-to-core move. He used tall-and-fall mechanics, working for a medium three-quarters arm action. Longer through the back, showing some whip to the arm. He hides the ball well through the back with a full takeaway. The fastball has some arm-side carry in the low-70s with some carry. He showed an upper-60s slider with a 10-4 shape and tilt to it. He took BP as a right-handed hitter with a spread base, even stance, and high-set hands with the back elbow up. He keeps the weight on the backside and uses an aggressive leg lift. He turns hard with some bat speed, showing some feel to impact. He drove it well, working pull-side, with some feel to be on plane and show some strength. The best results were low-line drives working pull-side and back up the middle. He also worked out at first base, fielding the ball up the middle and working into a clean transfer with good accuracy across the diamond. He had a two-hand smother with shuffle into throws and good feeds to second. He had a clye working around the bag and he had a clean pivot to second. Accurate throws with some athleticism around the bag. Great student.
