Angel Polanco is a 2028 RHP/OF/IF with a 5-11 204 lb. frame from Providence, RI who attends Achievement First PHS. Stocky build with good present strength. Works from a high leg raise delivery with a medium length arm action and an over the top arm slot. Fastball was in the mid to upper 70's and topped out at 79 mph. Change up showed some promise with some fading life, tends to slow arm and body on a soft curveball. Still developing the ability to repeat his delivery and release point and make adjustments on the mound. Bat was his best tool at this event, uses his strength well to create bat speed from the right side with hand speed and some barrel whip when he hits through the ball, upper body swing that could use more lower half, line drive swing plane. 5.52 runner in the forty. Worked out both in the infield and outfield, profiles best as a corner infielder in the future, gets on top of his throws well in the infield. Good student.
