Cody Vanopdorp is a 2029 MIF/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who attends Sunlake. Young athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. Primary middle infielder who graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Is an easy mover on the mound and repeats his mechanics well, good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 80 mph and filled up the strike zone with the pitch. Spun an upper 60's curveball with some intent and spin with occasional biting action, plenty of projection on the mound. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Step by step actions in the infield, tends to get his glove down late, still working on consistency in his exchange and release. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with upper body oriented swing, has a compact and direct swing with an inside path, mostly middle of the field line drive contact, has some barrel control.
