Braeden Phipps is a 2026 C with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from East Syracuse, NY who attends East Syracuse-Minoa Central. Big and strong prototypical catcher's build. Sets up one knee down, receives the ball comfortably and stays compact and directional in his actions, has very good raw arm strength with on line carry and good accuracy, can continue to work on his lower half quickness and agility. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight crouched stance with a double toe tap trigger, can get caught late starting the bat and will need to simplify his trigger, has strength and gets some jump off the barrel when on-time, middle of the field approach. Very good student. Named to the PG New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
