Kyle Leith -- Leith looks the part of a pitcher with a long, lean body with sloping shoulders and good projectability. He throws with a short arm action front and back which contradicts his otherwise long and loose features. Better extension, especially in front, is really going to help Leith improve his stuff. He threw his fastball 78-81 mph for three innings. Without the extension in front it was difficult for Leith to get much 2-plane spin on his breaking ball, which was 69-73. He also threw a 70 mph change up. He's a good "05" prospect who should just keep getting better and better. Kyle is an excellent student.
