Joseph Axelson is a 2010 RHP/OF with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Spring Lake Park, MN who attends Spring Lake Park HS. Broad shouldered build, good strength potential. Hand drop delivery, long flowing arm action, Hi 3/4's release, throws downhill. FB topped at 83 mph, mostly straight with occ bore, SL is a good pitch, sharp and late, nasty bite at times, tends to slow arm on change. SL is big weapon, especially when FB velo improves. Good student.
