Kyle Whitman is a 2012 1B/3B/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Nation Ford HS. Big strong well proportioned build. 7.11 runner, strong arm at first base, has been 89 mph off the mound as well, good agility, has the tools for corner outfield as well. Left handed hitter, open stance, hand hitch start, looking to pull and lift, good bat speed, will need to simplify approach against better velocity. Good student, verbal commitment to Clemson.
