Noah Davidson is a slender 5'9", 2006 left handed outfielder/pitcher from Salem, Virginia. He showed good arm strength from right field with a smooth, easy arm action that got our attention right away. Davidson threw 77-78 mph off the mound from a high ¾ release point with a good delivery and effortless arm action. As a position player, Davidson ran 7.18, and had good body life. He used his speed and athletic ability to make two nice diving catches during game action. Davidson made solid contact at the plate, mostly to left field, but with added strength he should hit the ball with more consistent authority. We’re intrigued by Davidson’s smooth arm action and his long term potential on the mound even though he listed himself as a primary outfielder now.
