Mitchell Szwec is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton HS. Projectable athletic frame with room to fill out. Throws from a side arm angle on the mound, has arm speed, pitches to contact, competes on the mound, locates his fastball, repeats his delivery, gets arm side run on his fastball, change up has arm side run, needs to get ahead more. Has a short arm action in the outfield, good first step, throws are accurate, has arm strength. Starts out with a crouched stance at the plate, contact approach, line drive swing plane, goes to the opposite field well. Is a good student.
