Wayne Figg is a 2014 C/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lake Travis. Large frame with room to fill. As a catcher, long arm action, over the top release, good transfer and release, gains ground, online throws. Right handed hitter, aggressive approach, rotational swing, quick hands, stays inside ball well. Makes solid contact, good extension, loose wrists with solid bat speed. Excellent Student.
