Michael Soto is a 2014 2B/SS with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Austin HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, good balanced stance, sound and polished hitting mechanics, has some hand quickness, short and direct to the ball, loose swing with extension out front, barrels up everything, will pull off pitches occasionally, tools to keep improving with additional strength. Hustling defensive player, plays faster than 60 time, quick release, good actions and balance, game throws have good carry. Plays the game the right way. Good student.
