Kennon Fontenot is a 2014 MIF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends Barbe HS. Strong compact build, good overall body life. Good arm strength at shortstop, compact arm action, good balance working through balls, quick release, charges well and makes plays on the run, can likely play all IF positions well. Right handed hitter, spread stance, strong hands, has bat speed when staying back, line drive swing, hitting tools to develop with adjustments. Good student.
