Anthony Young is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Columbus HS. Tall slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. 6.91 runner, short quick arm action, some on line carry, can learn to work through the ball better. Smooth extended swing, long at times, has some developing bat speed, extended finish with some lift, good balance, inconsistent mechanics but flashes power potential and bat speed. Young skills but very good athlete. Also pitched, short compact arm circle, 3/4's arm slot, fastball to 81 mph. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
