Solid defensive actions, good footwork, has good throwing mechanics with a strong accurate arm. Good speed with a quick first step which helps him cover ground in the outfield. Has a quiet approach at the plate with a slightly open stance, a short compact level swing with bat speed. Makes line drive contact with a high finish, makes consistent contact, uses all fields and has good plate discipline. Is a excellent student.
