Garrett Blinkhorn is a 2015 1B/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Kennesaw Mountain HS. Solid athletic build with good present strength. 6.97 runner, has the speed, arm strength and athleticism to be a primary outfielder, plenty athletic to stand out defensively at first base. Right handed hitter, exaggerated pre-load/pre-turn, manufactured initial approach, swing is good once the bat gets going, swings hard and generates some bat speed with lift in his swing and good looseness out front, tools to improve with pre-swing adjustments/simplification. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for the showcase.
