Brett Hileman is a 2013 3B/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Hollidaysburg, PA who attends Hollidaysburg Senior HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. 6.86 runner, quick feet on defense, plenty of raw arm strength. Left handed hitter, short rotational swing, uses hands well, hits off his back side, good bat speed, line drive swing, can drive the ball to left centerfield, ball comes off the barrel well. Also pitched, nice low effort delivery, 3/4's arm slot, balanced and on line, steady mid 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, some feel for change up, didn't show breaking ball, pounded strike zone. Versatile player with good skills. Verbal commitment to Pittsburgh.
