Michael Lucero is a 2013 1B/3B/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Brophy College Prep. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Good footwork and hands at both first base and third base, quick exchange/release, accurate throwing arm, showed lateral range. Right handed hitter, straight stance, open to closed approach, short crisp swing, has some bat speed, ball comes of the barrel well, right centerfield contact. Sound fundamental player. Good student.
