Adam Haseley is a 2014 OF/LHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends The First Academy. Long and slender athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Very athletic two-way talent, future position to be determined. Graded out higher as a left handed pitcher this look, loose whippy arm, fast paced delivery. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, more velocity in there, slider was a quality second pitch with late sharp biting action, developing change up. Worked down in the zone and missed bats. 6.51 runner, different arm action from the outfield, raw arm strength but lower release, big tailing action. Left handed hitter, upright stance, busy feet with hand hitch load, contact approach, has some hand quickness, spray line drive contact. Plus athlete who performs. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Virginia.
