Daniel Wentworth is a 2014 3B/SS with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Perry, FL who attends Taylor County HS. Strong compact build, fairly mature physically. Very spread stance, rock back load, upper half rotational swing, short hand path to the ball, good strength in his swing, has bat speed, pulls the ball, line drive swing plane, solid contact, would benefit from hitting taller and using his strong lower half. 7.04 runner, good first step at third base, throws have carry, over the top compact release. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Florida.
