Mario Alston is a 2015 OF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Southwest Dekalb HS. Alston has a medium build with room to fill out. Hits from a square stance, has quick hands and an aggressive approach. Has line drive swing plane with good extension. Ball jumped when centered off barrel. Good balance through out swing with good weight transfer through ball. Made good hard pull side contact. Defensively, sure actions to ball with good arm strength, 3/4 arm slot with accurate throws to the base. Threw 82 from OF.
