Skylar Mercado is a 2013 SS/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Archbishop Stepinac. Mercado has a strong build, hits from a slightly open stance, line drive swing plane, shows good bat speed, hits to all fields, has solid extension through baseball, most solid contact is to middle of field, defensively, solid actions, ball comes out clean, solid arm with carry, feet work well, named to top prospect list.
