Andrew Swanson is a 2015 OF/1B/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Allatoona HS. Large, strong, athletic build, room to fill out, highly athletic, ran a 6.88 60. Strong outfield arm, good footwork, some carry on his throws. Right-handed hitter, hits from a closed stance, high hand set, consistent line drive contact, swings hard, good bat speed. Raw at this point, but has legitimate power potential and projection in his offensive game. Also pitches, as much or more upside there. High 3/4 arm slot, 81-82 mph fastball, spotted short 11-5 CB on the corners, tight rotation. More velocity on the way. Very good student.
