Fletcher Simmons is a 2015 C/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Gainesville, FL who attends PK Yonge. Large, athletic frame with present strength. Behind the plate he shows good catch and throw skills, keeps his shoulders square on his accurate throws down to second base. Quick transfer with a strong arm, needs to incorporate lower half into throws. Arm strength plays on throws across infield, charges well, 3B tools. Three-quarter arm slot on the mound, short arm action in back, with good arm speed. Fastball topped at 87 mph, with a sinking changeup and a strong feel for a tight 11/5 curveball. Has a future on mound. Left handed batter shows quickness and strength in swing with line drive contact to all fields. Short swing, keeps hands in, makes contact out front. Named to Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
