Jordan Ver Steeg is a 2013 RHP/1B with a 6-6 190 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Mount Paran Christian HS. Long slender build, plenty of room to get stronger. Long extended arm action, 3/4's release point, simple delivery mechanics, repeats delivery well but lacks present deception. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, good running action at times. Short slider with late cutter like break, could add more depth. Nice change up with arm speed and some running life. Throws strikes with all pitches and projects to add more velocity, has gained 6-7 mph of velo in the last year. Good student, verbal commitment to Kennesaw State.
