Mitchell Hansen is a 2015 OF/LHP with a 6-4 197 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Plano HS. Tall and slender athletic build, strong with lots of room for additional strength. 6.67 runner, smooth and athletic outfield actions, works through the ball well, attacks the ball, long loose arm action with very good arm strength, has all the tools to be a top level defensive centerfielder. Left handed hitter, simple short swing mechanics from a spread stance, fast hands, some lower half shift with the potential for more, line drive swing with advanced barrel skills, squares the ball up very well in games, easy low effort swing, high average hitter who has untapped power potential. Quality all around athlete with lots of projection. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Stanford. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
