Ethan Paul is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Newport HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Second base look and actions defensively, 7.14 runner, compact arm action with a quick release, smooth actions and soft hands, stays balanced, second base arm strength. Left handed hitter, stands close to the plate, short simple well controlled swing, short and quick to the ball, fast hands, hard pull line drive contact, repeats swing mechanics well. Solid all around skills and tools. Very good student, verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
