Garrett Rupp is a 2014 RHP/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Brophy College Preparatory. Very tall, lean athletic build, looks the part. Pitches from a three quarter arm slot with a long arm action, plus movement on fastball with heavy tailing action to the arm side and heavy sink. Delivers the baseball with an angle coming from the third base side of the rubber, inefficient momentum to the plate with a pause in back of arm action prevents him from generating as much momentum as he is capable of, good body and arm with a chance to develop into a high level pitcher. Good position player as well, power potential at the plate with a balanced line drive swing with quick hands and good strength at contact with a long swing. Good defensive footwork around the bag at 1B. Excellent student.
