Broc Newman is a 2011 OF/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Seton Catholic HS. Medium athletic frame, some present strength. 7.26 runner, sound outfield fundamentals, moves well to the ball, accurate throws, playable arm strength. Right handed hitter, tall straight stance, long line drive swing, tends to commit early and hit around the ball, mostly pull contact, battles well, would benefit from staying back and balanced, flashes the ability to lift the ball on occasion.
