Hunter Hendrix is a 2013 LHP with a 6-3 145 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lake Travis HS. Long very lean build, Big fast leg raise delivery, slows body and arm before release, high 3/4's slot, loose arm action, good balance. Fastball topped at 68 mph, mostly straight, throws fastball to spots, soft curveball. Fields position, pitches to contact and has a feel for location. Needs to accelerate to release point instead of decelerate. Good student.
