Jonathan Flores is a 2013 OF/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Pine Charter HS. Big frame, good athletic body. Moves well in the outfield. Very short arm action, lots of extension out front. Gets ball out quick and shows good velocity with carry. Aggressive at the plate with fluid mechanics. Good swing path that is short to the ball with good extension. Lots of strength in swing, hits the ball hard, good at contact point, ball flies off well. Leverage in swing with good bat speed and power. Slow delivery on the mound, stays upright thru delivery. Pitches from high 3/4 slot with consistent velocity around 80, up to 82. Big curveball at 58 with straight changeup at 64. Good student.
