2014 Rocky Mountain Showcase
Jackson Cluff is a 2015 SS/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Meridian, ID who attends Rocky Mountain HS. Cluff has a medium sized frame with an athletic MIF build. Defensively he has very good actions and showed instincts at both MIF positions. He works around ground balls well and has very good footwork through the baseball. Cluff has soft hands with quick transfers and a quick release. High level defensive player. At the plate, Cluff starts with a square stance and has some bat wrap at load. He uses a hands back load and has good rhythm to his swing. Cluff has quick hands with bat speed and showed some gap pop. He made hard contact in game and showed lots of instincts all around.
