Andrew Diaz is a 2014 OF/ with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Clements. Has an athletic build with room to fill out. Has a square simple set up with good swing mechanics, and a quiet load. Has a good swing with a line drive approach, has bat speed with a good finish. He does a good job of letting the ball travel, makes consistent contact and hits the ball to all fields. Covers a lot of ground in the outfield, gets good reads on fly balls. He gets in a good position to throw with good foot work, will add velo by getting on top of the ball. Has good speed on the bases. Is a exceptional student.
