2005 World Showcase
Wilfredo Rodriguez is a 2005 outfielder/infielder from Trujillo Alto PR with low sloping shoulders and a slender build at 6 ft. 2 160 pounds. He has a small stride with little or no weight transfer. He swings very hard and generates good bat speed, but lacks balance due to the effort. He made good line drive contact during BP. He has good arm speed, and was at 80 mph from the outfield with good accuracy. He has quick actions and showed good range. He moved well in the outfield and he can cover a lot of ground. He ran a 7.03 in the 60 and probably runs better than that. With added strength and his projectable body he will make a solid outfielder at the next level.
