Ezekiel Bear is a 2016 3B/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Ranch. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and nice present strength well proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.67 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, short steps to the ball, fields out front with nice glove work, moves well on charge, short arm action, can throw from multiple slots accurately with strength across. Solid defensive tools. Left-handed hitter, starts with an upright and narrow stance along with a high hand set closer to body. Short path to the ball, stays balanced and under control, pull side approach and shows easy jump off barrel to right field. Shows ability to get extended out front with present bat speed and carry off the barrel. Named to South Top Prospect List. Good student.
